GEORGE NEWS - The 56th South African Surf Championships will be held at Victoria Bay from 27 to 30 October.
This premier event is our country’s best-of-the-best; the competition every surfer wants to win.
Eight surfing districts from across the country compete for the overall winning team, and surfers will also be individually competing for the Men’s and Women’s Crown Champions titles.
The 48 men and 24 women participating athletes represent talented former and current National Team members and champions.
The event is presented by Surfing South Africa, the national governing body for the sport, and hosted by Eden Surfriders.
Spectators are welcome! Make your way down to Vic Bay between 07:00 and17:00 on the Friday and Saturday, with Finals expected to take place at 14:00 on the Sunday.
