Murray crashed in Australia and broke his collarbone in April, from there on it was a race to be fit for Rio, which Murray was intent on winning.
He has been training with his coach Joel Filliol and the squad in France and Spain in the lead up to the Games.
“I’m in a positive mind-set. I have left no stones unturned. I believe that my first Olympic Games was more an intro to big stage events and I have learnt from both the Games in London and the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
“My form has come back quickly and I believe I'm in the best shape of my life,” said an eager Murray.
