GARDEN ROUTE SPORT NEWS - Three lifeguards from the Eden District were selected for the national lifesaving teams that will compete at the 2019 International Surf Rescue Challenge taking place on 28 and 29 September and 2 October at North Beach in Durban.
Sameer Matthews, a Mossel Bay local, will compete for the senior team and Ellen Kleinsmidt from Plettenberg Bay will compete for the youth team.
Claudio Miller is the coach of the youth team.
