KNYSNA NEWS - Following some recent success in their brand-new sports kit, Knysna Primary School has expressed a huge thank you to their various sponsors who made it possible for the school to obtain the kits.

Principal Ivor White said, "I would like to make use of this opportunity to wholeheartedly thank every single one of our sponsors for their contributions to what was an unforgettable experience.

"Our learners were able to make memories that they will cherish and hold onto for a lifetime." White referred to the school's success at the Kobus Wiese Super Series in Paarl between 31 March and 5 April.

There, KPS' U13 netball team performed well against strong opposition, managing to win a brilliant 11 out of 16 matches, losing four and drawing one.

But the shining light for KPS was without a doubt their U13 rugby side who became the first-ever KPS team to win the series, winning all four of their matches to be crowned champions.

The sponsors who contributed to the school's kit were Blue Moon Holiday Apartments, Caltex van Helderen and Jeeves Heated Towel Rails.
