KNYSNA NEWS - Three ladies from Knysna Bowling Club represented the Eden Bowls Association at the Bowls SA Inter-Districts Championship last week from 9 to 13 March in Pretoria, where Eden finished second.
Arlene Bosse, Marion Ward and Jenny Raymond were three of eight women to represent EBA in the veteran division.
They were split into two teams of four with Bosse and Raymond taking part in one, and Ward in the other. The two teams participated in separate sections and at the end of the first round, their respective scores were put together to determine who would make it into the final.
They then competed against Boland in the final but were not able to outdo their Western Cape counterparts, meaning they finished second.
