KNYSNA NEWS - Three young hockey players from Forest Edge Preparatory School have been selected for the 2026 Eden U13 High-Performance squads.
Luniko Tyala, Shameeqa Stroebel and Kaden Jacobs earned their places in the elite regional setup following a series of strong performances and consistent development throughout the season.
Selection for these squads is regarded as a major milestone for any young athlete, reflecting not only individual talent but also dedication, discipline, and a sustained commitment to excellence on the field.
The Eden High-Performance programme brings together the region's top U13 players, providing them with advanced coaching, structured development opportunities, and exposure to a higher level of competitive hockey.
Clive Boyd of Forest Edge Sports congratulated the trio and their families on the achievement.
"We extend a very warm congratulations to our athletes and their families. You have made our school community incredibly proud, and we wish you the very best for the season ahead," he said.
The school says the selection of Tyala, Stroebel and Jacobs emphasises the continued strength of its hockey programme and its focus on developing both skill and sportsmanship within the Eden district.
