KNYSNA NEWS - On 7 and 8 October two Knysna boxers, who both come from a newly opened kickboxing academy in Knysna, excelled in a national tournament.
The kickboxing academy has been operating since August at Vermont in Hornlee.
Shedwin Arries (right) won gold in kumite (freestyle sparring) while trainer and sensei Africa Vumazonke won gold in continuous fighting and silver in K1 (kickboxing full contact).
Thus qualifying them for a national team to represent South Africa during a world championship tour in the US.
