KNYSNA NEWS - Fraaisig Primary School's inaugural Family Fun Run, Walk and Cycle drew about 100 participants during this year's Knysna Oyster Festival, and combined fitness with fundraising.
Held in partnership with the Knysna Cycle Tour of last Saturday, the event brought together learners, parents, staff and community members for a morning of exercise and family fun, all while supporting a local cause. The funds raised during the event will be donated to the Vermont Old Age Centre to benefit senior citizens in the community.
The school thanked its hosts, partners, prize sponsors and the organisers for ensuring that the event ran smoothly.
