Enter now for Total Youth Day run

SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - All runners are invited to take part in the Total Courtenay Youth Day over 10 and 3km on Tuesday 16 June at 08:00.

Pre-entries close on Friday 12 June. Runners can enter on www.entrytime.com or at the following sport shops: Tekkie Town Garden Route Mall, Langeberg Mall and Oudtshoorn, Top Gear Sport, Sportscentre York Street George or Sportmans Warehouse.

Late entries will be accepted on Monday 15 June at Total Courtenay from 17:00 until 19:00. There are no entries on race day for the 10km. Entries for the 3km will be accepted on race day.

The pre-entry fee is R35 for runners that belong to a running club and R70 for those runners that do not belong to a club.

Late entries cost R45 for club runners and R80 for non-club runners.

The entry fee for the 3km is R20.

There will medals to the first 260 runners in the 10km and 300 in the 3km as well as many lucky draws.

There is prize money on offer in the different categories, including the 3km.

10km men and women:
Open: 1st R1 000, 2nd R500, 3rd R300
Juniors 1st R500, 2nd R300, 3rd R200, 4th R150, 5th R100
40-49 1st R200, 2nd R100
59-59 1st R200, 2nd R100
60+ 1st R200, 2nd R100

Walk 1st R200, 2nd R100

3km (boys and girls): Grades 8 to 10: 1st R150, 2nd R120, 3rd R100, 4th R80, 5th R50

Grade 1-7: 1st R150, 2nd R120, 3rd R100, 4th R80, 5th R50

The first 200 runners in the 10km that register will receive a goody bag.
