GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Cross country riders from across the Garden Route spent last Saturday, 30 January, elevating their skills by taking part in a cross country clinic hosted by local instructor and international level 3 eventing coach, Linda Squair.
Riders from Riversdale to Plettenberg Bay travelled to George Riding Club to attend.
According to Squair, the clinic was hosted to introduce safe cross country riding to the lower level competitors and to improve the skills of other riders who wish to upgrade to the next level in eventing.
Eventing is the triathlon of equestrian sport, with three phases - starting with dressage, cross country and finally show jumping.
