KNYSNA NEWS - Braving some chilly morning temperatures, runners from Knysna Marathon Club (KMC) once again laced up their running shoes and set off on their weekly club run on Sunday 15 August.
The club's members embark on a run every Sunday and last week they tackled 28km of road around Knysna, starting and finishing at the Caltex garage on Waterfront Drive.
This past weekend they started from the White Bridge, at the Brenton road turn-off. Facing a tough incline up the hill from the get-go, the group of nine runners set off just after 07:00 on Sunday.
They covered 21km of road, visiting both Lake Brenton and Brenton on Sea during the run.

Melikhaya Msizi, KMC club captain, thoroughly enjoyed the route and the challenge it presented.
"The run was great but it was challenging with lots of hills, but sometimes you have to challenge yourself," he said. They will be running in Plettenberg Bay this coming weekend.
