KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna resident Louis Theron, a member of Knysna Angling Club, represented South Africa at the European Fishing Championship hosted by the European Federation of Sea Angling (EFSA) in Helsingor, Denmark from 8 to 12 August.
He was part of the Protea Light Tackle Boat Angling team. His efforts helped bring home gold in the Executive Team class.
The executive teams are made up of four anglers from different country teams, based on a selection draw made by EFSA management before the competition starts.
Thereafter the four anglers' points are added and the team with the highest combined points score, wins.
