KNYSNA NEWS - Candice Muller, who is a learner at Knysna High School, took part in the recent All Ages Netball Tournament in Boksburg, and her team, the Cedars, won – out of the nine provinces in SA, with 23 teams in their different pools for the age group 14 – to place them as the overall gold winners.
What makes the winning so significant is that this winning team (and also all of the other teams) only had their once-off training camp in Moorreesburg, over the weekend of 15 to 17 June.
During the camp the players meet each other for the first time, so they needed to acquaint themselves and gel with each other.
The Cedars were unstoppable and they won all their games throughout the week.
