The grading consisted of physical fitness, listening skills, co-ordination, attendance during term and respect for coach and others.
The children are taught Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which is a ground based game and does not rely on strength, but on weight distribution, angles and leverage.
Once students have shown respect, discipline and a full understanding the academy, further progress onto basic boxing and kick boxing skills is made.
