KNYSNA NEWS - Saturday 18 November brought with it the perfect weather conditions for running and the perfect morning for a race. Along with the flat route these conditions made for some very fast times.
Godwin Heyns from Nedbank SWD took the 10km title in a time of 31:33, and Louw-Anne Lourens in the female category in 43:16. Loyd Bosman from Nedbank SWD took the 21km overall in a time of 01:08:32 and Davena Magson from Nedbank EC in a time of 01:34:25.
The day was a huge success and every runner had an eventful experience.
A big thank you to Knysna Hollow who suffered a big loss during the Knysna fires, but is continuing their sponsorship of the event.
They will reopen in 2018 and the organisers look forward to have them on board for many years to come.
