GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - SA for Hope, the non-profit drought relief organisation that has helped thousands of farmers and farm workers, is presenting a fund-raiser golf day at Glenwood Golf Club on Saturday 17 September.
The cost is R1 000 for a four-ball. The R250 per player includes a braai pack. Fire and salads will be provided. Tee-off is at 12:00.
Lots of prizes are to be won and there is a R100 000 hole-in-one prize. Local celebrity couple Jovan and Thelma will add to the vibe with their live music.
SA for Hope needs funds for an outreach to 100 farmers and their workers on 15 October in the drought-stricken Olifants River area.
