KNYSNA NEWS - The George-based company Roof Handler recently organised a charity golf day, raising a total of R9 000 for Sedgefield Knysna-Sedgefield in the process.
Held in partnership with Volkswagen Knysna, more than 30 clients completed the nine-hole course during the event held at Sedge Links, Sedgefield. They were joined by PGA professional Nico-James Visser, as well as representatives from the event’s sponsors. Participants also enjoyed a post-game meal in the clubhouse and a short prize-giving ceremony, with no one going home empty-handed.
Roof Handler is a distributor of high-quality roofing and insulation products in the Southern Cape, including roof sheeting, insulation boards and blankets, and roofing-related accessories. It is a member of the Youngman Roofing Group.
“Our business has been operating in the region for more than 12 years, and we believe it is important to regularly invest back into the community," said director Lisa Christie.
“We’d like to extend a huge thank you to all of the sponsors who made the day possible, particularly Youngman Roofing, Corroshield South Africa, Palram Industries, BlueScope Steel, Isover Saint-Gobain, Sedge Links and Volkswagen Knysna.”
