Annual ladies golf event filled with fun and laughter

KNYSNA NEWS - Every year the ladies of Knysna and surrounding areas come together at Pezula Championship Golf Course to enjoy a game of golf and laughter.

This year was not any different from the previous ones held. 14 January 2022 was set for Pezula to host their annual ladies at home golf tournament.

This year was one for the record. Due to COVID and lockdown restrictions the past 2 years the organizers were unable to host the event, 88 players showed up on the day and all of them were eager and excited for the long awaited day.

The theme of this year’s event was: “Zest and Citrus”. On arrival all the ladies looked enthusiastic and energetic in their colorful Citrus outfits. The day was earmarked with a lot of fun, both on and off the course.

We want to extend a huge Thank You to our main sponsor Seeff Properties Knysna who sponsored the event, the ladies were overjoyed when presenting with welcome gifts! The sponsors as always were very generous and all appreciate what they have done.

Without them this memorable event would not be possible.

Gail Rimbault, the licensee and main sponsor, Seeff Properties Knysna, said that it was a huge pleasure and honour to sponsor this event. She alluded that it builds good relationships with the community and she is looking forward to the next one.

A big five thank you to the organizers, Lady Captain Liz Keller together with her phenomenal team Bev McKenna and Hilda Hofmeyer, they have done a fantastic job.
