GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Former Holy Cross Primary School learner Anam Menziwe is going places.
The sensational youngster, who turned 15 in the Black Cats Football Club development structures, collected his first medal and trophy with the Tuks u.17 team last weekend in Pretoria after beating Sporting Academy 5 to 4 in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw.
Menziwe started playing football in the dusty streets of Lawaaikamp in George. But, his talent was spotted and he joined the Tuks development side earlier this year.
Knowing full well that there has to be a life after football, Tuks Football Club also offers its players academic programmes to help them obtain quality qualifications.
Menziwe is currently in Grade 9 at Lyttelton Manor High in Centurion.
