KNYSNA NEWS - Gaylon Williams, an 18-year-old soccer player from Knysna Secondary School, has been granted the opportunity to participate in an international soccer tour.
Gaylon is among a select group of 11 boys chosen to take part in the prestigious Real Betis tour scheduled to take place in Spain from 15 to 22 December.
As Real Betis is a Spanish international soccer club, this tour holds immense personal significance for Gaylon, who has long nurtured a deep passion for soccer.
Gaylon's love for the sport is evident in every aspect of his life. He is dedicated to both training and education, recognising the importance of a well-rounded approach to his development.
As an active member of his local team, Royals FC, Gaylon consistently shows his commitment and offers assistance whenever needed - and his dedication has resulted in this opportunity to play on an international stage.
Being scouted for soccer has been a lifelong dream for Gaylon. The chance to represent his country and showcase his abilities in Spain holds immense personal significance, while opening up a world of new opportunities for his future.
