KNYSNA NEWS - Football action has returned to Knysna after a six-week break over the festive period, with KLFA Domestic League and Safa Eden Regional Men's League games being played last weekend.
The last club football that Knysna saw was on 11 and 12 December, when the KLFA Domestic League wrapped up the 2021 calendar year with its final round of fixtures before the annual December / January break.
At the conclusion of the weekend Smuts United were top of the table with Pine Stars in second, La Liga in third and Young Chiefs in fourth.
The first round of matches in the new year for both the Regional Men's League and Domestic League kicked off in Hornlee on Saturday 22 January.

The first games of the weekend were in the former league, where Red Eagles lost 3-1 against FC United and CX Celtics beat Oriented Birds 4-2.
