KNYSNA NEWS - The town's newly promoted side La liga Football Club defeated the Lawaaikamp, George giants Black Cats 3-1 in a Safa Eden Hollywoodbets Regional League fixture on Saturday 1 February at the Lawaaikamp Stadium.
Owothando Wana, Rushane Davids and Ayabulela Mqelhe scored for La liga, while Siphamandla Hlangabeza scored for the Cats.
The Cats are currently in second position in the log with 24 points, and La liga are fighting their way up to the top five.
Stellar performance
Kwanele Sidloyi, a La liga midfielder, delivered a stellar performance against the Cats, playing delightful touches from the centre.
