FOOTBALL NEWS - Three soccer teams under the auspices of the Hessequa Local Football Association in Kwanokuthula in Riversdale recently received a welcome donation of brand-new soccer balls.
The soccer balls were donated by the Garden Route District Municipality (GRDM) and Cllr Betsie van Noordwyk of Hessequa Municipality handed them to representatives of the three teams.
The three recipient teams are United Brothers Football Club (FC), FC Kwano and XI Attackers FC.
United Brothers Football FC was represented by Elias Dayimani and Sbusiso Phongolo, Kwano FC by Nelson Kamfer and XI Attackers FC by Jomo Sibotoboto, who also serves as the Chair of the Hessequa Local Football Association. Kamfer and has been actively promoting grassroots soccer development in Kwanokuthula.
These teams, with their newfound resources, will have the opportunity to continue their invaluable work of nurturing young talent and promoting the love of the beautiful game within the community.
