KNYSNA CRICKET NEWS - The Knysna Villagers returned to the cricket field this past weekend with exhibition matches played out in Rheenendal on Sunday 15 November, on the cricket fields developed by Keith Cretchley adjacent to Totties Farm Kitchen.
The Villagers have been out of action for eight months, with their last taste of cricket action coming in late February/early March with the Knysna Villagers Cricket Festival, that saw 12 social cricket teams from around the country take each other on.
The two exhibition matches were played in a 30-overs format, and saw various cricketers of yesteryear as well as the George Villagers team come out and take part.

The George and Knysna Villagers locked horns on the Abbottsfield A field, while two invitational XIs – both a mix of past and present Knysna Cavaliers players as well as various others – played it out on the PG Bison Oval.
