REGIONAL NEWS - With both the Reserve League Division 2 and Women's League Division 2 finals played last weekend, SWD Cricket still has four leagues in contention for the 2023/24 season, with three in action this weekend.
Both leagues which wrapped up last weekend saw first-time winners, with George B emerging victorious over Mossel Bay B in the Reserve League 2 final while Sussex beat Knysna Cavaliers in the Women's League 2 final.
This now leaves the Premier League, Promotion League, Reserve League Division 1 and Women's League Division 1 all in contention.
Reserve League 1 will however conclude this weekend too, as Blanco and Ladismith face off in the final to compete for a spot in next season's Promotion League.
Meanwhile Knysna Cavaliers travel to Mossel Bay in the Premier League and Plett Pioneers travel to George, both on Saturday 10 February.
In the Promotion League, Hornlee's Pirates United welcome New Dawn Park to Knysna on Saturday.
