PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Carlos Koeberg, a member of Plettenberg Bay Pioneers Cricket Club, was elected as the new vice-president of South Western Districts Cricket at their members' council meeting in Oudtshoorn on Saturday 16 September.
The position became vacant following the election of Micheal Eksteen as president at SWD Cricket's AGM in July.
Luzuko Mralasi was elected as a new non-independent director while a former SWD player and captain, Ross McMillan, was appointed as an independent director. He will chair the financial and commercial portfolio.
The new SWD Cricket board of directors are:

- Mornay Stuurman,
- Adv Michelle Weyers (all non-independent directors),

- Ross McMillan,
- Loyisho Shoto and
- Reginald Salmons (all independent directors).
