Knysna Cavaliers still unbeaten in SWD Premier League

GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Knysna Cavaliers (118/5) remain unbeaten after four matches in the Six Gun Grill SWD Premier League competition after a 5-wicket bonus point victory against Mossel Bay (116 all out) at the Van Riebeeck Stadium in Mossel Bay on Saturday.

Harlequins Forces (112 all out), thanks to an outstanding bowling performance by Rhupino Plaatjies (7/6), defeated Ramblers (62 all out) by 50 runs in a low-scoring encounter.

Harlequins with three victories in four matches are second on the log - one point ahead of George.

Johan Smal (56) impressed with the bat for Union Stars (175/7) against Sussex (99 all out) at D'Almeida as the visitors recorded a 76-runs victory in a match that was reduced to 35 overs per team. George (74/7) remains in contention for a place in the play-offs with a 3-wicket victory against Plett Pioneers (73 all out).
