CRICKET NEWS - New Proteas head coach Ottis Gibson spoke to Sky Sports about the draw of working with superstars such as AB de Villiers and Dale Steyn on Friday.
The current England bowling coach, was speaking ahead of the second day's play of the third and final test between the hosts and the Windies at Lord's.
The former Windies allrounder's contract will run from mid-September, when he starts preparing the squad for the home series against Bangladesh, until the conclusion of the ICC World Cup in mid-2019.
"Its two years before the World Cup, there's a lot said about that. If we can get everything in place on the cricket field and get those players focused on the cricket and winning, I believe we have an opportunity over the next two years to do something special," said Gibson.
