GARDEN ROUTE CRICKET NEWS - With the SWD Premier League competition reaching the play-off stages, another exciting weekend is on the cards.
All 10 clubs will be in action on both tomorrow, Saturday 2 February and Sunday, 3 February and teams will be keen to consolidate their log positions.
The top team - upon completion of the pool stages - will automatically qualify for the final that will be played at the REC ground on Saturday, 9 March.
The teams that finish second and third respectively will contest each other in a play-off match to determine the other finalist.
The teams finishing eighth, ninth and tenth, together with the winner of the Promotion League, will all play each other in a round robin series of matches to determine the team that will stay in the Premier League competition.
In 2019/20 the Premier League will be reduced to eight teams.
