GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The Fidelity Titans women recorded a 26-run victory against the Garden Route Badgers in the Hollywoodbets Pro20 match at SuperSport Park in Centurion.
The Titans won by 26 runs in a rain-interrupted match.
The Titans scored 136/4 in 18 overs and thereafter, restricted the Badgers to 81/4 after 14.2 overs, when the match was abandoned due to rain.
The Pro50 match this past Saturday was also abandoned due to rain and the Badgers will bag two match points from this no-result match.
The Titans, who batted first, were at 98/2 (19.2 overs) when the match was called off.
The Badgers will have a re-match with the Titans this weekend, when they meet at the Recreation Ground in Oudtshoorn.
The Pro50 match will be played on Saturday and the Pro20 encounter will follow on Sunday.
