KNYSNA ATHLETICS NEWS - On 24 and 25 January, Oakhill College learners enjoyed their annual interhouse gala and athletics day. The three houses, Jubilee, Bendigo and Millwood, arrived in full force, cheering and displaying fabulous spirit.
The athletes gave their all in both the pool and on the field, with a number of records broken and some tightly contested races. The fun relay events were a great spectacle for all the spectators and competitors!
In the gala, Jubilee came first, with Bendigo and Millwood in second and third places.
The junior and senior victrix and victor ludorum went to Taryn Dawkins and Connor Strybis, and Aimee Canny and Joshua Smith respectively. On the athletics field, it was Bendigo that came first, followed by Jubilee and Millwood. Bendigo also got the spirit trophy.
