KNYSNA POLITICAL NEWS - Newly elected DA councillors, Sharon Sabbagh of Ward 9 and Peter Johan Bester of Ward 10, were sworn in as members of the Knysna Municipal Council on Monday 23 November at the Council Chambers.
Sabbagh is replacing former Knysna mayor and Ward 9 councillor Mark Willemse who was dismissed by the DA in October last year, while Bester is taking over from former Ward 10 councillor Peter Myers who resigned in May this year.
The ceremony was presided over by Speaker Mertle Gombo and officiated by Legal Services manager Melony Paulsen.
