KNYSNA NEWS - Deputy mayor Alberto Marbi announced today, Wednesday 12 March that he will be resigning from the Knysna council on Monday.
Marbi, of the Plaaslike Besorgde Inwoners (PBI) party, part of Knysna's ruling ANC/EFF/PA/PBI coalition, said he had “future endeavours" to follow politically.
“I will pronounce on this soon,” he said.
The election of a new deputy mayor would be undertaken by the council on a date to “be determined by council or the (ruling) coalition”, said Marbi.
