Woman falls from 2nd floor fleeing mall shootout
NATIONAL NEWS - A woman in her 20s is in a critical condition after she fell from the second floor of a shopping mall during a shootout in Johannesburg.

ER24's Russel Meiring says the incident occurred at a shopping centre in Aspen Hills, Johannesburg South.

The woman was in a critical condition with severe head injuries when paramedics arrived on the scene.

She was treated and provided with advanced life support interventions before being transported to Baragwanath Hospital.

Meiring said it was believed that the shootout broke out near the centre, causing the woman to run and trip, falling from the second floor.
