Update: Manhunt launched for two escapees
Trevor Moliwa (37)

NATIONAL NEWS - The two awaiting trial prisoners that escaped from the George Prison in the early hours of this morning have been identified as Calisto Chaderek (32) and Trevor Moliwa (37).

Chaderek is a Zimbabwean citizen who was in custody on charges of housebreaking and theft, while Moliwa, a South African, was in custody on charges of possession of a firearm and possession of stolen items.

Candice van Reenen, spokesperson for the Department of Correctional Services (DCS), confirmed the incident.
