The organisation has also raised concerns about what appears to be an increase tax fraud schemes.
Earlier this week Sars, assisted by the police, foiled an attempt to swindle the tax man out of millions of rand, and made five arrests.
It’s believed the group is linked to a Pretoria-based company, which claimed to have paid R266 million in salaries to its employees and wanted to claim a Value Added Tax (VAT) refund on that amount.
They allegedly submitted fraudulent payslips for non-existent employees.
