Police crack gang targeting OR Tambo Airport passengers

NATIONAL NEWS - Police are searching for two suspects believed to be involved in the armed robberies of people travelling to and from OR Tambo International Airport.

There was a shootout last night between officers and four men on the N12 near Kempton Park.

Police had stopped the group’s BMW which matched the description of a hijacked vehicle.

One suspect was shot and killed while another remains critically wounded.

Their two accomplices managed to run away.
