Sentencing arguments wrapped up yesterday, with the defence saying Pistorius should remain under correctional supervision.
The State argued that since his culpable homicide conviction has been overturned to one of murder, Pistorius should face the minimum sentence - which is 15 years.
Advocate Barry Roux has argued that the publicity around Pistorius's case has had a detrimental effect on him.
Roux says no other accused has had to deal with this level of publicity, misinformation and character assassination premised on a version that he intended to kill Reeva Steenkamp.
