Bomb scare drives people onto the street in Cape Town
A bomb scare had people scrambling to leave the High Court in Cape Town on Wednesday.
NATIONAL NEWS - A bomb scare had people scrambling to leave the High Court in Cape Town on Wednesday.

According to an eyewitness account from Sunday Times journalist Philani Nombembe‚ the court was evacuated at around 10am.

Police barricaded roads leading to the court precinct and were using sniffer dogs to comb the area for explosives.

Court officials and lawyers scrambled out of the building and gathered in Long Street in the city’s central business district.
