Baby rescued from KZN pit toilet
NATIONAL NEWS - A little baby girl is recovering in hospital after being hauled out of a pit toilet in Elandskop in Kwazulu Natal.

Paramedics were contacted by police to assist after the new born baby girl was found early Saturday morning.

ER24 Spokesperson, Chitra Bodasing, said the baby, who weighed in at 2.9 kilograms did not sustain any injuries but was very cold.

She said the baby is fine and under observation in hospital.

Police are investigating the matter.
