ER24 paramedics, along with Metro services, arrived on scene and found the two bakkies lying on the side of the road. One of the wrecked bakkies lay on its side.
On assessment, paramedics found that six people, three from each vehicle, had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Paramedics set out treating and immobilising the patients as well as providing some of the patients with advanced life support interventions.
Once treated, the patients were transported to various facilities including Mediclinic Paarl for further treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
