NATIONAL NEWS - Police are investigating a case of murder and robbery after the body of a 43-year old man was found at a security complex in Garsfontein, east of Pretoria on Tuesday morning.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Mathapelo Peters said the man was found by a local gardener around 08:30.
“He was found to have been shot in the upper body,” she said.
“It appears to be a robbery as a television and cellphones were missing from the house.”
She said police were yet to make any arrests.
Less than two weeks ago, the body of an elderly man was found at a property in Suikerbos Drive in Lydiana in the east of Pretoria.

Police found the 83-year-old deceased with his hands tied behind his back.
The motive of the murder was unknown and Silverton police have since launched a manhunt for those responsible.
