Only one-fifth (21%) of women say that they have found a man more attractive after seeing the type of car he drives. So one might be better off buying something practical instead of a used Corvette if you want to project a good image.
"The survey was conducted online in March 2014 and polled over 2 100 American men and women on the connection between attraction, date-ability and choice of car. The results led to the conclusion that women prefer a man who drives a sensible car, because it reflects his level of stability.
A third (32%) of women believe that the type of car a guy drives determines what kind of family man he will be - a guy who drives a sedan, for example, may be preferred over one with a flash Ferrari, according to a press release from AnastasiaDate.
When it comes to how men view women driving or riding in an exotic or fast car, 38% see women as being show-offs or arrogant and 6% view women who drive an exotic or fast cars as emotional.
When women were asked to select all of the traits that a man's car indicates about him almost half (48%) of women replied that a guy's car reflects his economic status while 46% felt it reflects the guy's image of himself. Of the respondents, 11% believe that
the car reflects the guy's feelings on having a family and another 11% that it reflects his future plans.
Fortunately for us all, the inference that an exotic car isn't sexy doesn't apply to all women. One in 10 said that they would date a man they weren't physically attracted to because he drives an exotic car.
If it's a man - women view men who drive exotic or fast cars as being show-offs or arrogant.
