PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - A breakdance workshop led by the amazing Mark Davids was held at the New Horizons Community Centre in Plettenberg Bay last weekend.
Opportunity for the youth
The event was an opportunity for the youth to showcase their talent in breakdancing. The inspiring experience focused on youth development through movement, creativity and connection.
Davids said that working with the kids was a true highlight. "Their energy, enthusiasm, and heart shone through in every session."
He said it was beautiful to witness the youth stepping out of their comfort zones, building confidence, and supporting one another as they learned new skills.
"This workshop wasn't just about dance, it was about empowerment, teamwork, and creating a space where young people could thrive and truly shine. And this is only the beginning. We're already planning more projects like this in the future.
We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude. Bboy Da Vinci, Hip Hop for Jesus, and Bboy Jandre, thank you for your incredible dedication in teaching and inspiring our youth."The workshop focused on youth development through movement, creativity and connection.
