PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - A woman driver was seriously injured in an accident involving three vehicles in Odlands Street, Plettenberg Bay yesterday, Wednesday 7 August.
It took rescue workers more than half an hour to prise her from her vehicle.
The woman is still in a critical condition, and her family has received counselling.
The accident occurred at about 16:50, a time when the angle of the sun could impair the vision of drivers going up Odlands Street towards the dolphin circle and Plett centre.
That stretch of the road in that direction has been described as possibly being dangerous at that time of the day.
The three vehicles involved in the accident were a small sedan, a bakkie and a Caddy.
The accident scene was about 50m from where a cyclist was killed in an accident on June 12.
Comment from the police is awaited.
