Weather: Fire danger warning for Beaufort West region

GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Nama Khoi, Khai-Mai and Hantam municipalities in the Northern Cape and Beaufort West municipality on Wednesday 3 September, according to the SA Weather Service.

Western Cape
Morning fog patches in places, otherwise fine and cool, but warm in places along the West Coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong west to north-westerly, but light to moderate westerly to south-westerly from Cape Point to Plettenberg Bay.

Western half of the Eastern Cape
Partly cloudy and cool along the coast with light morning rain between Plettenberg Bay and Jeffreys Bay, otherwise fine and warm. The wind along the coast will be strong south-westerly.

Eastern half of the Eastern Cape
Partly cloudy and cool along the coast, otherwise fine and warm. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly.
