KNYSNA NEWS - Readers of Knysna-Plett Herald requested information from our offices about the sudden, unannounced water cuts and Technical Services of the municipality were contacted for more information.
DA Councillor Peter Bester informed KPH that the problem stems from technical issues at the Thesen Hill reservoir.
Shortly after receiving this information, Knysna Municipality confirmed that the loss of water level at the reservoir was due to a problem with the sensory system that controls water levels.
Technical teams are on site to address the issue.
Residents are urged to use water sparingly until the technical team has resolved the issue. Knysna-Plett Herald will keep readers informed.
