GARDENROUTE NEWS - Francois Visagie was elected as the new chairperson of the Eden Schools Cricket.

Visagie, the headmaster of New Dawn Park Primary School, who served as the previous treasurer, will succeed the long-serving Jonathan Carelse. 

The Eden Schools Cricket's AGM was held in Oudtshoorn on 17 June. 

The rest of the executive committee are: Vice chairperson Cherylese van der Merwe (Bridgton Senior Secondary), secretary Glenda Oliphant (Dysselsdorp Primary), treasurer Gerrit Janse van Rensburg (Laurus Primary), girls cricket representative Tarryn Plaatjies (Sacred Heart Primary), Black African Cricket representative Victor Sijaji (Garden Route High), primary schools representative Christo Kemp (Van Reede Primary), high schools representative Danie Fouche (Outeniqua High), events representative Bernard Jonkers (Bergsig Primary) and coaches development officer Peter Bacons (Dysselsdorp Primary).
