KNYSNA NEWS - Vermont Centre no longer has to rely on old linen for its residents thanks to a donation from Knysna Municipality mayor Mark Willemse and Placid Waters Resort manager Mike Hofhuis.
Vermont Centre, a retirement and assisted living centre, has always had the issue of receiving the short-end of the stick when it comes to funding.
Placid Waters resort manager Mike Hofhuis and mayor Mark Willemse then went to Vermont with the linen, which entailed 60 pillows, 120 pillowcases, 30 single fitted sheets, 30 flat sheets, and 12 mattress protectors to conduct the handover.
