Update

KNYSNA NEWS - According to the Garden Route District Municipality statement on 22 June, two wildfires in the De Vlugt mountain area continue to be active and smoldering.

The cold weather and minimal rain have ensured that the wildfires have not spread further.

The wildfires remain inaccessible by foot. Trigger points have been set for offensive tactics to be implemented should the wildfires spread further.

Report wildfires and other emergency-related incidents to the Garden Route Emergency Call Centre at 044 805 5071.
